LIVE IN JAPAN

ディジー・ミズ・リジーというバンドを知ったのは、彼らが活動を辞めた後だった。オアシスよりも顕著にビートルズの影響を感じさせる、ディジー・ミズ・リジーというバンド名に興味があって、1stアルバムを聞いたのだがこれが本当にヤバすぎた…。自国デンマークでプラチナヒットを飛ばしたという実力。。。。心から納得できる。

そしてこのライブ盤だが…久々に言葉を失ったアルバムだった。1曲目「バーブドワイアード・ベイビーズ・ドリーム」の入りから既に震える！！曲途中に絡めるユニゾンもヤバい。「ウォーターライン」はライブ盤で聞くと本当に泣けるほど良い曲だ。テンポもよく、しかも曲途中にジャムをはさむ楽しませっぷりだ！ライブならでは！！とも言える「遊び」は、「マザー・ネイチャーズ・レシピ」の曲途中でツェッペリンの名曲「モビー・ディック」を絡ませる展開からみてもよ〜く分かる。完璧なライブアルバムなのだが、細かい部分をつくと、名曲「グローリー」のギターソロではティムはもしかして最後ミスったのか？？？ライブを見た人で真相を知っている人がいたら、是非教えてほしいです。
